KAD Cook-OFF #3 - avoKADo!

Wow, wow, WOW!!!  This was by far one of the most successful cook-offs because of the variety, the creativity, the number of entries and the great effort everyone put into their dishes.  We all had a VERY hard time deciding a winner.  I know I say that every time but I really mean it this time!!! :)

"This was the best challenge yet!  Not only did we have MORE dishes but they were all ridiculously delicious.  After tasting all of the entries, I had it narrowed down to the top 6.  Then I had it down to 4, then 2 and I asked myself the same question I ask myself in every challenge: Which one dish would I eat for the rest of the night?"  ~ Terence

CURRY COOK-OFF II

If you like to have starch with your starch (ie. potato on top of rice), have a CURRY cook-off!  We had THE perfect amount of curry dishes to go around for all to taste and the chefs did NOT disappoint!  A special THANKS to all of our wonderful chefs.  The competition was fierce and I had to have three or four bowls of each to finally make my decision.

I forgot what we were giggling about here...

3rd Place - Myrtle's Eggplant curry

RUNNER UP:  Jake - who also made a delicious appetizer version of the same curry but with an added "kick".  His curry dish had a thick gravy made with coconut milk and spices, along with potato, carrot, and onions - delicious even without rice!

1st Place WINNER: Mr. T -  His curry dish was actually a flavor filled vindaloo, filled with amazing spices, tomato, and potato.  The unique curry flavor won the tasters over and ultimately took the ribbon!
